Quite liked the paper apart from the UN questions in last section. I know, not many of us do this, but with questions like teese i may not again either! Both questions were of the minor aspwects of thwe topic and not directly related to Peacekeeping which is after all the name of the Topic. Surely one question needs to be about the main issue eg specific operations, or role of Cold War or aims of peacekeeping? My kids , like all, predict what will be in the exam and were very surprised to see the two issues chosen given the scope of the topic. Some were happy about what they wrote but I do not expect much from most of them. If we want teachers to go beyond the tried and true topics and not have the BOS tell us what options we can offer, as they are doing in other subjects eg Legal Studies, then this will not help.
