I have been asked to select a new textbook for What is History? I rely upon an eclectic range of resources, and no doubt I will continue to do this, but would love to hear what teachers might have found useful for students to have as their text.
I have found "The Houses of History" (Green and Troup) an excellent text. Ken Webb's "Extension History: the Historians" is also very useful, but "Houses of History" is great for its breadth and the sample chapters it provides.
