I have it on good authority that it would be a good idea to write to the BOS- again- about the current syllabus if you don't like it. Lack of money for a review will be an excuse probably but the more pressure the better. My school will never teach it again until the syllabus changes.
Your school will seriously not run it again until it changes? Perfect is isn't, like any course, and reviews are needed on a regular basis for all aspects of teaching. But to reject History Extension outright in its current shape is to deny your students - and yourself - a wonderful opportunity to genuinely extend their abilities. Greg Keith Nagle College
No we're not teaching it again. I've already lost this message twice so I won't go into all the details again. Three experienced Ext. teachers won't do it again- even one who has taught it 5 times and constantly gets Ancient marks up to 97. Our students would be better putting the time into 2 units of Ancient or Modern and even doing Ext. English . Elizabeth.
