Hi, I am currently teaching at a school that only allows a few students to take extension history based solely on their grades (only the top 9 students are allowed to take it). Many students come asking to undertake the subject because they are passionate about history but they are discouraged and told their are not "able" enough to do it. I am searching for any articles that might discuss how students should be selected for extension history. I know Paul Keim has discussed this at HTA days in the past but I was looking for something in writing to discuss with in faculty.
