Last night's 4 Corners episode (31 July), Junk History, was wonderful for Ext. All about Gavin Menzies and his bestseller '1421: The Year China Discovered the World'. He comes across as a likeable nutter but the implications for how history works are fascinating. 


It will be repeated later this week.


Felipe Fernandez-Armesto was hilarious. Full text of his interview is on HTA's website.

Agree with your comments entirely Paul - a wonderful episode that should see extension history teachers racing to ABC tape sales.


Can you give a more specific location for the Felipe Fernandez-Armesto interview? I searched the HTA web site with no luck...
