Just wondering if I could ask help......please........We are starting extension this year and I am feeling a little overwhelmed and completely naive. I have chosen our case study but want to know does the student's History Project come from their study of the chosen Case Study Topic For example: we are doing The Historicity of Jesus Christ would their study take the form of say; How does the writings of Josephus compare to modern historians such as Josh McDowell? Any help would be grately appreciated. I just want to know I am on the right track. Also if anyone has a program from Part 1 'What is History' I would love to peruse to see how you incorporate the three parts together. Thankyou in advance.

Hi Carol,

While the various skills and theories addressed in the Case Study will have application to students' projects, the topics themselves need not be connected. Without turning to the syllabus for the exact reference, I'm sure you'll find the Case Study and Project topics should be unrelated. The same applies to overlap with the modern and ancient courses. The project topic should be selected individually by the students based on their personal interests.

Thankyou Greg. I thought I had read that but on page 26 of the Syllabus it says it may be developed from a case study but should cover substantially different ground. I will read it again but thankyou so much for your reply.
